The Civil Court Data Initiative Campaign
Client: Legal Services Council Corporation
Role: Art Direction, Design
Inspired by real data from the latest Justice Gap Report, we created two videos that use characters to illustrate the dysfunction of our current court system. Through illustrative characters and type-driven animation, we brought to life the experiences of those who have navigated the system and been failed by its shortcomings. By weaving human voices into the storytelling, we underscored that the courts were never meant to function this way. Our goal was to help viewers connect, understand, and empathize with the weight of this harsh reality.
Eviction
A story of a family's struggle through the eviction court process, exposing the inaccessibility of legal aid and the dysfunction of the court system.
Medical Debt
One of the most widespread problems in the U.S. due to the structure of our healthcare system, this story highlights the reality of the court system and its impact on many families.
